These pear muffins with oat crumbles are fruity and crunchy at the same time thanks to the Kölln® Oat Pillows. Of course, depending on the season, you can also switch between other types of fruit such as apples, berries or apricots.

Ingredients

For the dough:
  • 125 g soft butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • 50 g Kölln® Oat Pillows
  • 2 level tsp. baking powder
  • 3-4 tbsp. milk
  • 400 g pears
For the crumbles:

Preparation

For the dough whip soft butter with sugar until creamy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Mix flour with Kölln® Oat Pillows and baking powder and add to the egg-butter-sugar mixture alternately with the milk. Mix everything into a dough.
Peel and core the pears and cut into small cubes. Preheat the oven. Grease a 12-hole muffin tin or line with muffin liners. Fold two thirds of the pear cubes into the dough. Then pour the dough into the muffin cups. Spread the remaining pear pieces on the muffins.
For the crumbles process all the ingredients into coarse crumbles. Spread them on the muffins and bake the muffins until golden brown.

Top/bottom heat: 180 °C

Fan assisted oven: 160 °C

Baking time: 25-30 minutes

Preparation time: approx. 45 minutes
