For students interested in an industrial or technical career, we offer one- to two-week internships in the following areas.

Economic internship

Students interested in economics have the opportunity to learn about the various economic processes and departments of a manufacturing company like Peter Kölln through an internship.

In addition to the many administrative tasks, such as purchasing raw materials or assembling goods, students can also get a glimpse into production.

We generally offer the economic internship during the autumn holidays. For 2026, all available places have already been filled. Please feel free to send us your application. We look forward to hearing from you.

  • When is the best time to apply for an internship?

    We accept applications for industrial student internships at any time and would be delighted if you would like to get a taste of what we do. We only offer internships in the commercial/economic field in the autumn. As we only have a limited number of places available, it is best to send us your application documents in the summer. If you're looking for a student internship, take a look at our job vacancies – there might be something suitable for you. Otherwise, we are always happy to receive speculative applications.

  • What qualifications are required to apply for an internship?

    You don't need any qualifications to get a taste of what it's like to do a student or business internship with us. If you would like to complete a student internship, it is important that you are enrolled in a degree programme at a university.

  • What documents do I need to submit for the application?

    If you would like to get to know Kölln better through an internship, please send us your current CV and a brief cover letter with your preferred dates. For student internships, we also require a certificate of enrolment.

  • Where can I get to know Kölln?

    We take part in various careers and training fairs in the surrounding area, such as the PinBall in Pinneberg or the YES careers fair. We would be delighted if you could visit us there and we could get to know each other. We will be happy to answer all your questions there or by phone at any time.

  • What does the selection process look like?

    As soon as we have received your application documents, we will check whether there is still capacity available in your desired area and time period and will then respond to your application. In the case of student internships, we would be happy to get to know you better in a short interview beforehand.
